What are pivot points?

Pivot points are price levels many traders watch as potential support and resistance. The central pivot (P) is the average of the previous high, low, and close; R1–R3 and S1–S3 are derived from it.

How to use them

Price above the pivot is often read as bullish bias, below as bearish. R/S levels are watched for reactions. They're a reference, not a signal — combine with your own analysis and risk management.
